          Sinusitis

          Head congestion, facial pain, pressure, and runny nose for over 7 days


          Sore throat

          Pain or scratching sensation in the throat, difficulty swallowing, and swollen glands


          Earache

          Sudden and severe earache accompanied by fever, hearing loss, or difficulty sleeping.


          Infected insect bites

          Red, swollen, painful, or hot bites from insects like mosquitoes, bees, or spiders.


          Impetigo

          Contagious skin infection with red, crusty sores, usually around the mouth or nose.


          Shingles

          Painful rash with blisters caused by the varicella-zoster virus, usually on one side of the body.


          Urinary Infections ("Cystitis")

          Uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) in women: Burning pain during urination, frequent urination, and urgency to urinate.

          High blood pressure can place you at risk of suffering a life-shortening event like a heart-attack. If you are 40 or over and are would like to "know your numbers" we can carry out a bllod pressure check and, if appropriate, provide a monitor to measure your blood pressure over a 24 hour period  just as your GP might suggest. 


          The service is NHS funded so you will not be charged to access it.

          We provide NHS-funded ("free") emergency hormonal contraception ("morning after pill'). We can provide the 24 hour and up-to 5 days treatments. Our pharmacist can advise on the most suitable treatment.


          We have female chaperones and a private area for discrete consultation. We do not share your details with your GP or anyone else without your consent.


          Walk-in service, no appointment is necessary.

      Pneumonia Vaccine

          Pneumonia is an infection of the lungs that can make it difficult to breathe. It is caused by either a virus or bacteria. 


          Common symptoms include:

          • a cough – which may be dry, or produce thick yellow, green, brown or blood-stained mucus (phlegm)
          • difficulty breathing – your breathing may be rapid and shallow, and you may feel breathless, even when resting
          • rapid heartbeat
          • high temperature
          • feeling generally unwell
          • sweating and shivering
          • loss of appetite
          • chest pain – which gets worse when breathing or coughing

          Unlike the flu vaccination, the pneumonia jab you can access all year round.


          We offer boith a private and NHS-funded ("free") 


          To be eligible for the NHS servuce you must be over 65 or have one or more of the below risk factors. 

          • Have asthma
          • Have a chronic respiratory, heart or liver condition
          • Have diabetes
          • Smoke service
